Granola Bowl with Turmeric Apple Compote

 

 

Elevate your breakfast game with this wholesome and delicious granola bowl, featuring a vibrant turmeric apple compote. Packed with nutrients and bold flavours, it’s a perfect way to start your day feeling energised and refreshed!

Ingredients:

Granola

  • 3/4 cup dry quinoa
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (e.g. cashews)
  • 2 tbsp olive or coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Small pinch of sea salt

Turmeric Apple Compote

Method:

Prepare the Granola
Preheat oven to 170°C. Combine quinoa, nuts, oil, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Spread mixture evenly on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Make the Turmeric Apple Compote
In a saucepan, combine diced apple and Daily Good Fiji Turmeric Immunity Shot. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the apples are soft and tender. Add extra water if needed to prevent it from drying out.

Assemble Your Bowl
Add granola to a bowl, top with yoghurt, and spoon over the turmeric apple compote.

Serving Suggestion

Finish with a sprinkle of extra granola or a handful of fresh fruit for added texture and sweetness.
